Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, so Cape Town is making a whole weekend of it: Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October. We’ve rounded up nine ways to do it, from a zombie horde shuffling through the Company’s Garden to a silent disco at sunset, a dark-carnival drag show, a ghost hunt and a silent horror classic with a live score.
Pick your fright level and book early, because the good ones sell out.

A Juice tip
Stack your night. Start with the Zombie Walk at 17:00 in the Company’s Garden, catch the sunset silent disco at The Lawns from 18:00, then head back into town for Cirque Noir at Mavericks or Faust with a live score at The Labia. Expect surge pricing on rides after the Zombie Walk, so build in time between stops.
